چکیده

Abstract The research presented in this paper focuses on the development of a quasi-Linear Parameter Varying (qLPV) model for XV-15 tiltrotor aircraft. specific category qLPV modeling technique, known as stitching is employed to time-varying dynamics aircraft over entire flight envelope. In approach, discrete linear state-space models are interpolated through lookup tables function scheduling parameters with implementation nonlinear equations motion. configured four parameters: altitude, nacelle incidence angle, wing flap angle and velocity. Additionally, computational complexity analysis presented. particular, sensitivity number states demonstrated. This done show feasibility real-time increasing fidelity (number states) expanding dynamic envelope parameters).

Development of Linear Parameter Varying Models for Aircraft

This paper presents a comparative study of three Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) modeling approaches and their application to the longitudinal motion of a Boeing 747 series 100/200. The three approaches used to obtain the quasi-LPV models are Jacobian linearisation, state transformation, and function substitution. Development of linear parameter varying models are a key step in applying LPV cont...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Model identification of linear parameter varying aircraft systems , Report no. LiTH-ISY-R-2789

This article presents parameter estimation of continuous-time polytopic models for a linear parameter varying (LPV) system. The prediction error method of linear time invariant (LTI) models is modi ed for polytopic models. The modi ed prediction error method is applied to an LPV aircraft system whose varying parameter is the ight velocity and model parameters are the stability and control deriv...

A Parameter-Dependent Performance Criterion for Linear Parameter-Varying Systems

Existing control theory for linear parameter-varying systems uses a uniform-in-the-parameters upper bound (a constant scalar) on the induced-L 2 norm. In this paper, this constant is generalized to a function of the parameters; the performance criterion generalizes to an integral quadratic constraint and implies a norm bound that depends naturally on the real-time parameter trajectory. As in ex...

Parameter Varying Control of a High Performance Aircraft

The dynamic response characteristics of modern aircraft vary substantially with ight conditions. These changes require scheduling of the ight control system with variables such as dynamic pressure and Mach number. This scheduling can be accomplished easily for simple controllers but is much more diicult for complex controllers which result from the use of most modern control design techniques. ...
